Upper Abs: Crunches and sit ups are commonly recommended to strengthen your upper core. Although a very basic exercise, crunches can increase strength in your upper core. To increase difficulty and effectiveness of a crush, you can add additional work out tools, such as dumbbells for your arms, or a swiss ball for additional stretching.
Lower Abs: Doing leg raises can help strengthen and shape your lower core. Although you may be familiar with doing hanging leg raises in the gym, lying leg raises at home have a similar affect. If you have a bench to lay on, letting your legs hang free will increase your range of motion.
