Description:

Approximately one year prior, the patient had undergone a bilateral breast augmentation with 240 cc smooth round saline implants performed through a periareolar (edge of nipple) incision.  She then presented with right breast capsular contracture with concerns including distortion, firmness, and pain to the right breast. She underwent removal of part of the capsule on the right side with creation of a neosubpectoral plane and release of the capsule on the left side.
